Je l&rsquo;avais d\u00e9couvert \u00e0 son premier roman (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parislibrairies.fr\/livre\/9782290367360-comment-je-suis-devenu-stupide-martin-page\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Comment je suis devenu stupide<\/a><\/em>, que j&rsquo;avais ador\u00e9) : cette fois-ci il nous met en sc\u00e8ne deux personnages, aux antipodes l&rsquo;un de l&rsquo;autre, Harriet et Max.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;une est issue d&rsquo;une famille pauvre et est devenue riche par son travail, l&rsquo;autre est issu d&rsquo;une famille tr\u00e8s riche et il est devenu pauvre par conviction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tous les deux vivent \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 du monde et ont du mal \u00e0 sociabiliser (c&rsquo;est le moins que l&rsquo;on puisse dire).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et comme le ying et le yang ils s&rsquo;attirent irr\u00e9pressiblement malgr\u00e9 tous leurs efforts pour ne pas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les personnages sont bien vivants et ancr\u00e9s (malgr\u00e9 leurs bizarreries et leur jusqu&rsquo;au boutisme qui pourrait friser le caricatural), j&rsquo;aime beaucoup l&rsquo;\u00e9criture de Martin Page, pour autant je n&rsquo;ai pas du tout accroch\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;histoire. Il y a bien s\u00fbr le c\u00f4t\u00e9 com\u00e9die romantique qui ne cesse d&rsquo;\u00eatre antiromantique (c&rsquo;est marrant une fois ou deux, au del\u00e0 je trouve cela un peu facile), le c\u00f4t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s parisien : on est soit banqui\u00e8re tr\u00e8s friqu\u00e9e, soit actrice pauvre, soit militant \u00e9colo&#8230; pauvre aussi (le papa qui est juste pauvre n&rsquo;est pas parisien) ; on est tout sauf h\u00e9t\u00e9ro, on va tous chez le psy, on mange des plats \u00e9tranges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En allant sur internet pour aller voir quelle t\u00eate pouvait avoir Martin Page, j&rsquo;ai d\u00e9couvert (en plus de sa t\u00eate) qu&rsquo;il se d\u00e9finit \u00e0 la fois comme non binaire (!?) vegan et qu&rsquo;il ne semble pas beaucoup aimer la banlieue (par ce qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a rien)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C&rsquo;est d&rsquo;ailleurs amusant, seules deux villes sont cit\u00e9es : Paris et Montreuil ; les autres villes de banlieue portent des noms invent\u00e9s. Et quand bien m\u00eame les protagonistes y vivent, c&rsquo;est pour devenir \u00ab\u00a0normaux\u00a0\u00bb, ou presque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enfin chacun formule \u00e0 tout bout de champ des discours hyper complets sur des luttes sociales, sexuelles, \u00e9conomiques, de classe&#8230; l&rsquo;accumulation de ces discours (m\u00eame bien \u00e9crits, m\u00eame souvent marrants) fait un peu perdre de force \u00e0 l&rsquo;histoire en dispersant le propos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En conclusion c&rsquo;est presque bien. Et je crois bien que j&rsquo;avais lu un autre roman de lui pour lequel j&rsquo;\u00e9tais arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 la m\u00eame conclusion (mais je ne me souviens pas lequel sinon que j&rsquo;avais \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9\u00e7u).
